Description
The Implant Abutment Screw Access Hole Filling Kit is designed for filling, packing, and removing materials in implant abutment screw access holes. Proper sealing of the screw access hole is essential to the long-term stability of implant restorations. This kit helps fill and manage the upper portion of the screw access channel, preventing composite resin from flowing into the screw cavity and facilitating easier retrieval during future maintenance.

- Easy to cut to the desired length as needed
Clinical Procedure for the Implant Abutment Screw Access Hole Filling Kit
- Connect the prosthetic abutment
- Tighten the abutment screw

- After autoclaving, use a dental instrument to pack the PTFE tape into the abutment screw access hole
- Seal and cover the access opening with composite resin
Why Use PTFE Tape Instead of Cotton in the Abutment Channel?
To keep your abutment clean and working perfectly, it’s important to seal the channel correctly. PTFE tape is the best choice because it creates a tight, leak-proof seal that stops water, debris, or other particles from getting inside. It’s durable, won’t break down over time, and can be removed easily if needed.
Avoid using cotton—it can shed fibers, soak up water, and expand, which might interfere with the screw or damage the parts. PTFE tape keeps everything secure, clean, and simple to maintain, giving you safe and reliable performance every time.
Clinical Precautions
- Do not store the instruments in a humid environment for a prolonged period. The PTFE strip should be protected from continuous light exposure whenever possible.
- Immediately after surgery, remove all residues from the instruments, including blood, saliva, tissue, and bone debris. Avoid collisions or impact during cleaning and use.
- After use, the instruments should be soaked in a cleaning solution. Do not use detergents containing high concentrations of chlorine or oxalic acid.
- The product must be sterilized before use (autoclave sterilization: 132°C, 4 minutes, drying time: 30 minutes).

Very satisfied with the purchase. Everything arrived safely, and the kit works well. The components are well made and easy to use.
