Description

The Dental Alveolar Ridge Splitting & Expansion Surgical Kit is designed to support horizontal expansion of selected narrow alveolar ridges before or in conjunction with dental implant placement.

Unlike basic ridge-splitting kits that contain only chisels, this complete system combines three circular saw blades, four progressively sized axe-shaped ridge splitters, a bone milling instrument and a reusable handle.

The saw blades are used to prepare the initial osteotomy, while the four ridge splitters provide a clear progression from 1.5 mm to 3.0 mm. This structured sequence allows clinicians to gradually increase the expansion rather than attempting to achieve the required width with a single instrument.

The included bone milling instrument can be used for additional bone contouring or refinement according to the planned surgical procedure.

Indications

Designed for splitting and gradual horizontal expansion of selected narrow alveolar ridges where additional ridge width is required for dental implant placement.

Patient selection should be based on clinical examination and radiographic evaluation, including residual ridge width and height, cortical bone thickness, bone quality and ridge morphology.

Contraindications

Patients with alveolar bone width less than 4 mm
Patients who are allergic to stainless steel and titanium alloys
