Case Feature 1: Tap-in Connection Helps Reduce Peri-Implantitis

After bone resorption around the original screw-type implant, it was removed, and an EASYLEARN(Compatible with BICON) tap-in implant was immediately placed in the deep subcrestal bone (1–5 mm or even deeper). The implant forms an effective soft and hard tissue barrier to resist bacterial invasion. After osseointegration, a strong solid composite abutment is tapped into place, and a bar-retained half-arch restoration is performed on top. The solid abutment minimizes micromovement, helping to reduce the micro-pumping effect of bacteria.

Case Feature 2: Minimally Invasive – Reduces the Need for Bone Flattening Procedures

In this case, the bone surface was irregular—knife-edged and sloped. The EASYLEARN (Compatible with BICON)implant could be flexibly inserted at various subcrestal depths beneath such irregular planes. The solid abutment is compatible even with deeper subcrestal implant placement, offering a minimally invasive solution that avoids extensive bone trimming.
